Visual Management tool used to describe the activities undertaken during an improvement project.
It focuses on the project team, the project target, the methods employed, the results so far achieved, the major discoveries and any other information which can be helpful for the team work.
The board has to be a real tool for the team work and not just "window dressing".
Different Activity Boards should be implemented at the different levels of the factory: the Steering Committee Board, the Factory Board, the Pillar Board, the Area Board, the Team Board, the Machine Board, and the Line Board for example. |
